Restaurant En Coulisse (French for “Restaurant behind the sets”) is a counter service fast food restaurant located behind the film sets inside Disney Studio 1. It offers burgers, salads and pizza’s.
It’s the largest restaurant in the Walt Disney Studios Park. There are in fact 2 levels of seating area, but the upper level is only open on busy day. Outdoor seating used to be located where now the Monsters Inc. Screamin’ Corner has been build.
Expert’s advice
Look out for the two lighting machines inside this restaurant. The one near the Brown Derby controls the lights above the Legends of Hollywood shop entrance. The one behind the Liki-Tiki façade controls the Coca-Cola sign and it can trigger thunder light and sound effects.
