Crush's Coaster and Cars Quatre Roues Rallye were officially inaugurated for the press on 16 June 2007.

Press, VIP's and selected guests were greeted on Front Lot by a live band, followed by a performance of High School Musical on Tour. The visitors were then escorted to the entrace on Toon Studio where a large gate was build for the occassion. The gate was opened by Minnie Mouse with the help of Euro Disney S.C.A. president Karl Holz and the Disneyland ambassadors Wendy and Arnaud. A cast of 100 Cast Members took part of the opening ceremony.

An open air barbecue was then served on Toon Studio Plaza, between both new attractions. The Radiator Springs Band took care of the music, to the delight of the large cast of Disney and Pixar characters. The Ratatouille characters made their first appearence that evening at Disneyland Paris and even the very rare Pixar Pal Mike from Monsters Inc. wasn't absent from the event.

Both Cars Quatre Roues Rallye and Crush's Coaster, which featured a "clownfish carpet", were open all night long for some toony spins.
