News update 7-8 February 2008

Disneyland Park
There's not much to report on Disneyland Park this time, except that the rehab at it's a small world has been finished up. We spotted a survey cast member questioning guests about their experience with the attraction. We noticed a similar situation a few weeks ago at the exit of La Cabane des Robinsons. Also in Fantasyland, the Peter Pan's Flight show building is still in rehab.

The old windmill in Frontierland's Cottonwood Creek area has returned. It was removed 2 weeks ago without a clear reason.

Moving on to Discoveryland where curtains have been added near the Buzz Lightyear animatronic in Buzz Lightyear Laserblast. These can be closed when the animatronic is broken. Unfortunately, they are not too well hidden...

Walt Disney Studios Park
Over at Walt Disney Studios Park has the streetmosphere entertainment Cinéfolies been renamed to Shooting Live and moved from Disney Studio 1 to Production Courtyard Stage, in front of Cinémagique. The use of the stage allows more guests to see the performances and in addition, the bottleneck traffic problems in Disney Studio 1 are now out of the way.

We pointed our camera to the new information board in front of the Hollywood Buildings. The board is unique in its kind and goes further then the electronic board at Disneyland Park. Small screens show highlights from entertainment offerings and a countdown clock warns guests when doors are closing.
And speaking of the information board... Remember how 2 weeks ago the former Walt Disney Studios information board showed up at Discoveryland? Well it returned back to its original park, across the Tower of Terror entrance and highlights 2 posters from Cinémagique and Moteurs... Action! Stunt Show Spectacular.
Kool Post, the recently re-branded Studio Catering Co. van received a '50's-styled prop, designed to look like a radio. We offer a look on the menu as well.

Over at Toon Studio we noticed that stars have been added to the mechandise kiosk in front of Animagique and two identical Wall-E posters were added to Disney Studio 1's Toon Studio side.

In Backlot, we noticed a few removals. First at Armageddon - Les Effets Speciaux has the yellow-coloured queue line in front of the attraction completely removed. And at Café des Cascadeurs were all neon-signs taken down.

To conclude our news update in Walt Disney Studios Park, we had a look over at Stitch Live! where a tree has been removed in front of the attraction, making the building more visual from a distance. We also captured the sign on camera lit up during the evening.

Disney Village
The improvements at Disney Village keep on going on. The concrete borders in front of the newly added planters are nearly finished. They are similar to the ones found a few meters further on the Resort's hub.
More trees and planters are being added throughout Disney Village, including near King Ludwig's Castle and Annette's Diner.
