Disney's Hotel New York

The design
The main building is inspired by the skyline of New York City. Several design elements reminding to the American town can be found throughout the hotel and its surrounding which include the (big) apple and famous locations within New York (Battery Park, Time Square, etc.)

The hotel
Hotel New York has always attracted lots of business people, thanks to its large convention centre attached to the hotel. However, it's also quite popular among resort guests thanks to its service and close location to the Disney Parks and Disney village.
The rooms are spacious with lots of softgreen and red touches.
The hotel features two restaurants (Manhattan's and Park Side Diner), the New York City Bar and a swimming pool with sauna and steambath.

Fun facts
» Guests can ice skate on the skating rink during the winter months.
» The skating rink is transformed in a bycicle parcours for the little ones during warmer months.
» The bycicle parcours on the ice skating rink hides the original fountain featuring a map of Manhattan.
» There are 27 suites.
» Designed by postmodern architect Michael Graves.
