- A Big Thunder Mountain Railroad attraction
is located in Disneyland California, Magic Kingdom in
Florida and Tokyo Disneyland.
- It's the first time ever that Big
Thunder Mountain is located on an island. The train
reaches the actual attraction using a tunnel under the
Rivers of the Far West.
- Audio-Animatronic animals located
in the attraction,: possums, a goat, donkeys, coyote's
and bats.
- The English safety spiel is performed
by Imagineer Eddie Sotto who was responsible for Disneyland
Park's Main Street, U.S.A.
- A Big Thunder Mountain cut-out is located
in the Phantom Canyon scene in Phantom Manor.
- Listed as one of the most popular attractions
in the Resort.
