The story
Take a wild ride aboard a mining train through an abandoned gold mine. Hold on to your hats and glasses!

The attraction
Big Thunder Mountain is a classic "mine-train" roller coaster with an immersive theming.
Minimum Height for this attraction is 1.02m.
This attraction features Fast Pass.

Fun facts
» There's a Big Thunder Mountain attraction at Disneyland California, Magic Kingdom in Florida and at Tokyo Disneyland.
» It's the first time ever that Big Thunder Mountain is located on an island. The train reaches the actual attraction using a tunnel under the Rivers of the Far West.
» Many animals are featured in the attraction, including possums, goats, donkeys, coyote's and bats.
» The English safety spie is performed by Imagineer Eddie Sotto who was responsible for Disneyland Park's Main Street, U.S.A.
