on board.
The Disney Characters Express travelled
down Main Street, U.S.A. several times a day and stopped
in front of Sleeping
Beauty Castle where the characters would come off
the train for meet 'n' greets on Central Plaza.
Trivia
- The Disney Characters Express used
to be the Casey Jr. float from the Wonderful World of
Disney Parade, first introduced in 1998. It found a
second purpose after the parade was retired to make
way for Disney's
Once upon a Dream Parade.
- The parade was first premiered during
a special event for travel agencies. All characters
were holding a candle, similar to the ones on the golden
statues on Sleeping Beauty Castle.
- Repainted and renamed to Minnie's Party Train in 2009
and The All Stars Express! in 2010.
