| Le Visionarium
Le Visionarium was a 360° film presented
at the Circle Vision theare in Discoveryland.
The film introduces Timekeeper, a robotic
inventor who has created a device, called 9-Eye, which
can travel through time. 9-Eye is send from time to time,
starting at the Jurassic age and ending in a futuristic
Paris.
The attraction closed September 5, 2004
to make way for Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast.
Trivia
- Dozens of miniature vehicles were
suspended from the ceiling in the pre-show room. These
included a scale model of Disney's version of the Nautilus
and several reproductions of Leonardo Da Vinci inventions.
- The film features a cast of European
film actors of France, Italy, Belgium, and England.
- This attraction was later copied to
Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disney Resort.
- No longer exists in any Disney theme park.
- The Timekeeper animatronic is used by the resort's
maintenance department to train their staff.
- The 9-Eye animatronic is hidden in Buzz Lightyear
Laser Blast as an homage to Le Visionarium.
