Place des Frères Lumière was in 2002 when Walt Disney Studios Park opened, considered as the most beautiful part of the park. It’s based on the administration areas of Hollywood movie studios from the early ’30s.
The colossal Disney Studio 1 is inspired by the original Disney Studios on Hyperion Avenue, Burbank. The park’s name and logo, the silhouette of Mickey Mouse and a camera, are painted on the façade. But those details are now hidden behind a wall of corporate advertising.

The Wonderful World of Disney Parade started its career in 1998 and re-used some of the older floats from the Disney Classics Parade (1992) but also incorporated new ones. The entire cavalcade was a history of Disney movies, starting with Steamboat Willie.

Disneyland Resort Paris’ next year’s theme has finally been revealed and confirmed. The successful 15th Anniversary celebrations will be prolonged until half 2008, in favour of Mickey’s 80th anniversary.
All banners and logo’s will remain the same, even though by the end of the celebrations, the park will celebrate its 17th anniversary…

Several message boards including our very own magicforum have been the place for debates about what might be going on at Critter Corral. Main conclussion by most fans was: Splash Mountain, The long awaited attraction that has been a hit at three other Disney parks world wide, but wasn’t build in Paris, yet
So when construction workers put up the famous green fences around the area a couple of weeks ago, this was direct evidence that work had started on the water attraction, right??? Wrong! There will be no new attraction for the Critter Corral area any time soon. But something else is being erected on the location… but what?

Agrabah Café, the legendary restaurant inside the Adventureland Bazar has been closed for nearly 7 years now and is only used once in a while for special events. It was rumoured recently that the restaurant would finally reopen it’s doors for the Christmas Season to increase restaurant capacity. But is this Thousand and One night Fairytale as pretty as fans currenlty want to believe? Depends how you look at it…

Critter Corral, the Frontierland petting zoo located in the Cottonwood Creek area, has closed down for good. After being inactive for a couple of years, management clearly decided to move on and give the area a second life.
